Big Brother doesn’t like being watched…
Apparently it's ok for our government to install cameras all over the place to watch us with, but it's not ok the other way around. Not even when those cameras are on your property and recording your property. After bringing a video tape to a local police station to complain about an detective that was harrassing him, Michael Gannon was arrested and charged with two felony counts of violating state eavesdropping and wiretap law by using an electronic device to record Karlis without the detective’s consent.
So for everyone out there that has a security system that records audio and/or video, make sure you turn it off if a police officer or detective comes to your house, otherwise you might end up a federal prison.
