Blah, blah, blog…

Halloween is more important than elections

Filed under: Evil, Politics, Randomness, Rant, Waste of Time — weasel at 11:44 am on Tuesday, October 24, 2006

It's funny that in a supposedly mostly Christian nation, where politics are charged with Christian religious moral issues, that this country is spending nearly five times more on the Pagan holiday of All Hallows Eve than on the mid term elections.  Why is it that so many people of Christian beliefs participate in Halloween?

Who knows…

I've edited out the religious bashing rant as it really didn't fit this post properly.  It shall be making a return as it own much more cohesive post.

oh hey don’t forget that November 1st is All Saints day… just thought I’d mention that even though that’s not a christian holiday. Christians that aren’t catholic don’t believe in saints…. so I have no idea why any christian would celebrate either day ;)
